best answer gets 10 points..does anybody have any videos showing them fighting that video with a cougar and grizzly bear fighting was cool!!

It would probably be a pretty even match and would depend on how large each specific animal were (there is some variation within species). I am not sure of the answer to your question but I can add some fighting facts. Jaguars tend to kill by biting on the ventral aspect of the neck (over the windpipe) and kick the prey with their back legs (like a jackrabbit) and the guts spill out of the abdomen. However, cougars (or pumas) tend to attack their prey from the back. They bite on the dorsal aspect of the neck and suffocate their prey. Hope that helps but I am still not sure who would win. :(

Apparently the powerful jaguar can overrun a puma. But I really feel it depends on the circumstance and which one is more desperate to win, again. :)

The jaguar would win. It is larger, stockier and has a larger skull with far more crushing power.

Their territories overlap in southern Mexico's jungles.
Jaguars are heavier and have more developed fangs, so no doubt wight+equipment=dead puma.
