Has to be Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and/or Blow. Pirates 1 was awesome and he became infamous for it. It was a great flick, but his talents run far over just a good lookin' man doin' what the fans want to see. I think that's why he left 21 Jumpstreet oh so many years ago.
if you ever get the chance please watch Blow, or atleast give it a second look on the shelf. Regardless of the content, it really is a great showcase of his acting.
