I was in Vegas in May and saw "La Reve" at the Wynn.
I've recommended it to all of my friends headed to Vegas in the near future.
The auditorium has a very intimate-feeling setting. And the show was just breath-taking. Nonstop action but very graceful. Like nothing I've seen before and I don't even know how to describe it.
My husband loved it too.
We saw "O" on a previous trip and were not impressed. "La Reve" is similar in the fact that it is set in water, but the stage is much, much more impressive and the show keeps moving as opposed to "O," during which I think I may have fell asleep a few times.

If you want to see a production show, I recommend the show at Bally's, "Jubilee" (there is a "top covered" version for families at about 7:00PM) and the show at the MGM, "KA". I also recommend Gladys Knight’s show at the Flamingo and also the George Wallace comedy show at the Flamingo.
We also saw Schintas at the Rio and that was OK. Clint Holmes was a good show at Harrahs.

I loved Penn and Tellers show. They do some crazy stuff and are always witty.
ALSO one of the funniest, if he is still there, is The Amazing Johnathan. He is a Comedian/Hack magician and is wickedly funny. Its one of those where he is so funny you can't catch your breath from laughing.

My favorite show is the Mystere show at the Mirage. If you aren't too picky, just go to the ticket broker down by the MGM and see what is on sale.

While I have not yet seen it, I have heard very positive reviews on "KA", the cirque show at the MGM.
