I would say most sales, probably the Beatles, but Michael Jackson has bought rights to many of their tunes. The artist with the most number one hits suprisingly is Mariah Carey.

I think the Beatles have sold the most records. The most popular album of all time may be from Elvis.

The most popular single of all time was, and I think still is, Bing Crosby's version of "White Christmas."

The most recorded song is "Stardust" by Hoagy Carmichael --over 1,300 versions were recorded and sold (and it's still being recorded in new versions).
