The violin, hands down. A flute is just a little to high pitched for me for romance. A violin can take you from a slow dance to a jig in seconds.

Depends on what music's being played. Going by the sound of the instrument, tho, definitely the flute.

That question has to do with individual preference. All instruments can make beautiful sounds! They require a person that knows how to play, not just read notes but can express feelings, converse, move the audience to both feel and understand what the musician is playing.
The trouble with the masses is too often the just hear, but they do not listen. We hear cars going by, but we do not listen to them.

i agree, i was going to say violin. but yah a violin produces a very sad sound, well...hmm...i guess only if your playing with a minor scale. i dont know on that one
