My husband and I bought matching wedding bands when we got married. He lost his when he took it off to play a sport. We can buy a new one... but how important is it that he wears one? It doesn't really bother me one way or the other.

Not that important... it's the commitment that matters. Mine doesn't wear one and we never bought him one because he loses everything!

A wedding band is important in the sense of communicating that the person is married.
The wedding band makes it a little easier to avoid unwanted situations for both the married person and the single.
There are those who wouldn't mind getting involved with someone who's married, but many single people still sees the wedding band as sign saying "this one is taken."

That is only a question that you and your husband can answer. To some couples, a wedding band is a must so that everyone can see and understand that you are in a committed relationship others feel the same as you. Talk it over with your husband, and do what feels best to the both of you.

I think wedding bands are an old tradition. Sure it's okay to have one. I usually don't wear my ring to work because I have to wash my hands like a million times a day but I do wear it when my wife and I go out.

It's not important if he wears it or not. If he's in situations where other women might want to hit on him, then it's wise to wear it to communicate to the women in a very straight forward way without them asking him if he's married. They should get the message.

After a hoop that stuck reduce into my finger to the bone, in a non operating environment, or perhaps motor vehicle doorways have produced scars which couldn't led to lack of finger, it does not count number number to me as long as no different ring changed into worn. because that if he wore a own or type ring say, there is not any reason now to not placed on the band. in my opinion i imagine "marriage" ought to both be executed away with thoroughly, or have a 7 or 10 365 days time period, because the final marriage lasts in ordinary words 7 to 10 years, and the majority imagine you need to be enemies even as ending even as in the journey that they confronted data they could section beforehand even as they could nevertheless proceed to be acquaintances no demanding emotions, because it really is merely how that is. yet no, they call them "failed" marriages even as if undeniable actuality it really is merely how that is and has been because the business revolution began, even if divorce changed into on the develop lengthy, lengthy beforehand that it really is merely been the overdue 50's early 60's even as anybody began to marry too youthful (less than 20 to twenty-5) (earlier marring youthful than 20 changed into in ordinary words in rural aspects that 's because properly each and every hand on the farm meant a lighter load.)

We will be married a year this sunday, and at first we wore them all the time. Then we'd run off and forget them, and now hardly wear them at all. You can't base your marriage around a ring because you never know what could happen to it. just because its gone doesn't mean he loves you any less. Thats all that matters. I hope this helps.

How important is it to him? It doesn't matter to you at all, so let him make the choice. My husband doesn't wear his, because he cannot tolerate any jewelry, not even a watch!
