Because people like to make their own rules to justify their lives.

Why do you think that everyone should be bound by the laws of your god? Why shouldn't people have the right to choose to live their lives the way they want to? How would you feel if it was illegal for you to obey your god's laws? You're granted the freedom and the right to follow what you believe is right for you. Why would you take that right from someone else, simply because it's not what you think is right?
What if everything changed one day and suddenly it was only legal to be married if you were married to the same sex and you had no choice? Would you want to live that way simply because gay people believed it was right, or would you like to have the freedom to marry someone of the opposite sex?

Because if all abortions were banned, people would resort to trying to hurt the woman (herself included) or getting an illegal abortion from a quack doctor. Many, many women would die of trauma or infection, as they currently do in several third world countries where there is no access to health care.
Gay marriage would not affect your own life, so why not, for example, let a couple together for 20 years share a health insurance provider?

First off, not everyone believes in your "God", and they have that right.
Secondly, if I chose to believe in your refrences to god, ok, then I would learn that I have freedom of choice and with that choice, the consequnces of my choices. At least according to your god, right? Now I dont know what gays think about marriage, Im sure there are alot of different beliefs.
I am a liberal and I believe that any choice a person makes that affects them without doing harm to others, is a
choice that should be honored.

Not all Liberals believe in either abortion or gay marriage. You are stereotyping. There are many Republicans who support a woman's right to decide what she does to her body, by the way.
As to using God and Liberals in the same augment you might want to consider that the commandment 'Thou Shall Not Kill' applies equally to war, the death penalty and the starving to death the thousands of babies we've refused to help.
You might also want to consider the words of Christ when he said 'Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.'
Can we assume that you are without sin?

LOOK hook.....Not everyone is christian, Not everyone believes that the bible is the word of God...what is it about this that you religious bible thumpers don't understand? On a religious vein, what do you think FREE WILL means? Do not profess to do God's work, yet twist scripture to hypocritically support your own interpretation... If you believe in the bible being the word of God, then allow GOD to be Judge...NOT YOU!
what is it about "judge not lest ye be judged" that you don't understand?? Interesting how you all seem to forget certain bible phrases when it is convenient for YOU!
Does it concern you what the Buddha teaches, or Mohammad, or Lao Tzu or Krishna or Shiva????? What if I held you to my Muslim or Buddhist beliefs and judged YOU by them? And expected YOU to follow them? You would tell me to "go Blow" wouldn't you? In other words (and I know this is not verbatim), but 'before you take the sty out of another persons eye, remove the stone from yours" (you know what I mean...), or "He who is free of sin can cast the first stone" ...so if your going to use YOUR religious beliefs, make sure you don't stumble on your own ignorance! And finally, what is it about Freedom of Religion or Freedom of Expression that you seem to have trouble understanding??

Well the Liberals have formed their own satanic Church which is the Church of Liberalism.
After the Liberal Barbara Streisand made her remarks about Bush and expressed support for Saddam Hussein, actress Patricia Heaton said it best when she said "On Judgement Day I will be standing before God, not Barbara Streisand."

Church and State don't mix well. Not everyone has the same religious beliefs you do. I believe in a woman's right to choose, but I don't support gay marriage. For me, marriage is a union of a man and woman, blessed by God for the purpose of procreation and the continuence of family....but that's just my opinion!

You have asked the perfect question. I'll give you my best answer, it is because liberals only think of themselves and because liberals think with a closed mind. My advice is that you contact your senators and congressman about how you feel about gay marriage and abortion. Abortion is murder and gay marriage is an abomination. If more Christians stand up, these atrocities will not be a factor.

You need to realize that not everybody believes in your god. For them, your plea holds no value.
People should have dominion over their own bodies. Period. Whether it's a decision to have or not have a child, or to marry a man or a woman, it's a decision every human being, by birthright, should be allowed to make for themsleves.
My life must be controlled by myself, not by some 2,000 year old storybook.

As far as abortion Goes, No one in the world has the right to tell a woman what she can and cannot do with her body, and as for Gay Marriage, What do you care if you don't agree with gay marriage don't have one, Let gays live their lives and you live yours. Who to say if their wrong??? We cannot reference the bible, the bible is irrelevant in the political world due to the separation of church and state.
