Don't beat yourself up over it... everyone makes mistakes. Just learn from this and don't sleep with anyone unless you're really sure it's what you want. Good luck:)

Why don't you see if there is more there with the "dorky" guy? Sometimes people don't seem like our type, but turn out to be great people. If you know now or find out later that you are not interested in him, don't feel bad and beat yourself up about it. We're human and we make mistakes. Sometimes we just want to feel close to someone and since this guy is sweet, it may have seemed like a good idea. Try to learn from this experience so you don't feel this way again. All the best...

It doesn't make you a bad person, just human. Sometimes we have needs and the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. Turn your regret into a learning experience. Most of us wind up with 'Masters Degrees' when it comes to lessons learned from bad relationships. Give yourself a break. If it felt like the right thing to do at the time... it probably was!

First, stop beating on yourself over this. You are not cheap. You made a mistake, and humans tend to do that. However, the majority of them learn from those mistakes. Sex is a wonderful thing, but it comes with responsibilities. As one of the other posters said, make sure you love the person you are about to have sex with. Also, make sure that you are old enough to deal with the immense responsibilities that accompany it. Work on your feelings of insecurity. Be careful, please. I'm only telling you what I'd tell my own daughter if I had one. :) Good luck

I would think you don't have anything to feel sorry about. If he is a nice guy and you like being with him, try giving him another shot.
It is more than likely he was very nervous tonight too and might not even be more experienced than you. I can be exciting to have a relatioship like that, were you both have a lot to learn and can learn together.

What is done cannot be undone. If you are not seeing him anymore, just get on with life.
