Since you asked if thought can be considered to be a dimension the answer is obviously yes, proof: you have already considered it.
Assuming that thought is a dimension brings two thoughts to my mind...(two more dimensions?)
1. infinite number of dimensions infinite possibilities
2. Are you really asking if we are alone in our thoughts?
I believe mind reading is real, it is just that it is considered rude in most cultures. Remembering the future is just considered to be cheating.

Thought could be a dimension in your own mind (lol). Thought has nothing to do with the collective unconcious (since thought IS concious) and can interfere with things like prognostication and other paranormal phenemena. Your questions aren't crazy, just uninformed. Studying the paranormal and supernatural will explain these concepts but beware not to have such an open mind that your brains fall out.

Dear JIM,
In my opinion THOUGHT is not a dimension but it has many dimensions.
Let me explain it with the help of Mathematics and LANGUAGE
In maths we have dimensions for
A point
A line
A rectangle
A Cube ....and so....
i.e dimension 1,2,3,4 etc..
Unlimited dimensions are there if we think it as a number line.
Now think about us Humans
We are three dimensional figures (length, width and height)
The world around us is 4 dimensional
In this logic there is 5,6,7,8..... Dimensional worlds too exist.
Now I hope you have a general understanding.
In our LIFE everything is related to or coming from THOUGHT. We our self is a manifestation of our own thought.
The final result of all thought is knowledge or an INDEX to an existing but now only recognized knowledge.
This is the time to think about the meaning of THOUGHT,
See the following definitions
1. SELFISHNESS: - Thoughts limited to 3 dimensions, we think only about our self
2. LOVE: - This can be treated as 4 dimensional since it is flowing to other 3 dimensional figures in the 4 dimensional world.
Try to define all the words in our language on this basis of Dimension and thought.
We see a different world.
The knowledge also has different dimensions
As an example think about a glass cube inside which you are seated, now your knowledge about the cube purely based on the facilities available inside the cube, you can only guess what is happening far away from the cube,
But once you are positioned outside above the cube in a point where you have the full view of the cube and almost all the things outside and nearby it, your view about the world changes, now not limited to the 4 dimensions of cube.
In acquiring the knowledge we also face this dimensional difficulty.
THOUGHT has no LIMIT but we limit it to OUR DIMENSION
Remember it is said,
THINK and GROW…!

I'm not sure if you just read my last post and decided to bring this up, but if not, that's one helluva coincidence, especially since in all my life, I'm the first person I've ever heard to refer to thought as a dimension, then shortly after you ask this question. Casting aside the origins of the question, however. . .
No, in my theory of thought as a dimension it doesn't preclude free will, unless you believe that you have absolutely no control over your thoughts (which is certainly conceivable), in which case existence in itself precludes free will.
I do believe, however, that we move through "thought" constantly. If you think of a path to get to a location, you're predetermining your arrival at the location, and then it's simply a matter of time before your arrival is realized. You moved through reality in a path which you "thought", and used that thought as the "path" itself. Thus, you "moved through" your own thought, which you created in the first dimension.

before each and everything, time as an summary theory is thoroughly self sufficient of the spatial dimensions, it isn't any longer a construct of the 0.33 measurement. it is purely that we use periodic activities in 3 dimensions as a accessible thanks to degree time. Now, to appreciate how time is the fourth measurement is truly complicated, yet undergo with me. Time is basically distinct from the three spatial dimensions. in spite of the indisputable fact that, it truly is often functional to address time as yet another measurement, albeit of a distinct style. as an celebration, in Einstein's particular concept of Relativity the time and distance between 2 activities are completely depending on the body of reference of the observer. in spite of the indisputable fact that, there's a quantity called the "spacetime period" between those 2 activities it is an similar no remember what the body of reference of the observer. it is giving by technique of: (delta(s))^2=(c(delta(t)))^2-(delta(x))^... the position (delta(s)) is the spacetime period, c is the speed of light, and delta(t);delta(x);delta(y);delta(z) are the diversities in time and the spatial coordinates between 2 activities. which could help you already know, imagine because the spacetime period to be analogous to the area between 2 activities in area time, and is equivalent to using the Pythagorean Theorem to locate the area between 2 factors in a airplane. i understand that ought to were truly technical, yet i'm hoping that it facilitates you already know why time is considered the fourth measurement, and sorry about the mess, yet yahoo isn't very conducive for writing equations.

To my knowledge there are several dimensions that have been unresponded to by conventional sciences. I personaly believe in other dimensions that we cannot percieve unless we are especialy sensative to those areas of tima and spce but i have no so called "physical" proof that they exist.
