Love the avatar. An animal? Hmmm.... either a house cat, because I love cuddling and sleeping, or a large protected species of bird, like an eagle so I could fly and not worry about being shot.

An osprey because they eat mainly fish, live by the water, mate for life and recycle their nest year after year.

A gorilla... they are very close to humans in behavior patterns and such, plus they're all furry and cute.
