Darn, I left my copy in Iraq. I'm serious. I read that book and loved it.
Let's see just going by the formula of the words... Someone who creates structures was emotionally moved by a justice that comes from heaven. "My architect" could mean his creator. The architect of his body. Could be the ultimate boast if his beauty? Saying that the Creator must have been inspired to make him that way.

Sounds to me like Dante's God was introduced to sacred justice, and it moved him. Maybe Dante was referring to the flood of Noah, the forty days and nights of rain, and how when he noticed he had wiped out everything but Noah and his boat, God kinda felt bad because he really had liked a lot of things about the planet he had just almost completely destroyed.

I think it means that seeing the Creator impose justice moved the author's attention or focus off of those being punished and onto something/-one else.
