Show me one bill that has passed Congress and been signed by Bush that is for We The People, not for corporations and the wealthy.

The tax cut that Bush and the Republican controled Congress wants to make permament gives me a whopping $20 savings.
What I want to know is how a person that is working middle class can support a administration that does nothing for them, but will give the rich and the corporations what they want. And I'm not talking about tax cuts only. How about education, infrastructure, evironment, hunger and energy? Think about what this adminstrations policies has done for you except to be afraid.

I make much less than 150,000 a year and I support him. Why do you make sweeping general statements?

It does not matter how much money a person makes, what matters to President Bush's supporters is they believed that he was the best man for President. Also, you have to remember that you live in Corporate America and the wealthy are the ones who contributes the most to the candidate they choose to be president. There were a lot of people who make under $150,000 (150K). a year voting for Bush than those who made 150K and more. How many people do you think make that amount of money a year. If there are more people making that amount of money a year, then, most of us working class people wouldn't be struggling from day to day hoping for a big slice of the good life.

Oh Ouch Ggarsk! You pushed all the hot buttons of the bobble headed right. Because they came out punching with all their feeble minds had to offer.... Let's see, you're drinking the Michael Moore koolaid - that's a favorite of mine because I NEVER hear that, so that's original... or the YOU must want a handout, a freebie, a free ride, You don't want to work... Because I keep re-reading your question - I get none of that from it ..So again I have to come to the conclusion that since they are unable to make up their own minds they will just be satisfied with criticizing you! It's sweet. The reality is that this administration has done nothing for the people, they have forgotten that little tenet of the Constitution calling for Democracy "For the People, By the People"

You don't know about those tax cuts that Bush gave you, which he wants to make permanent? Your party wants to stop those tax cuts so they have more money to spend on things like welfare. You must be another Michael Moore fan. You actually believe that Democrat lie that Republicans are for the rich? You mean to say that all Democrats are poor?

You do understand the importance of the separation of church and state, right? You do understand the meaning of the phrase "all men are created equal", right? How can one type of religious ideology be embraced by an American administration and still be unbiased about the plight of all it's people. It can't.

Those types of ethical questions are far more important than deciding whether or not gay people are a threat to the American way of life. Abortion is an ethical question for families, not a moral religious question for the state. Pretty soon, if we're not careful, they'll be trying to tell us what type of music we can listen to... Oh wait, they already tried that...

Because he is our president? There have been many presidents, and millions upon millions of Americans who earn less than that, not just recently. Have you heard of getting an education to make more money-or do you just want the current president to hand you something personally. Corporations and the wealthy are just as corrupt as poor who trade their food stamp money for crack and alcohol-yes, that happens. It's more of a personal choice with what you do with your life, than blaming someone with what you failed at. The wrong attitude will cost you more than being a victim of circumstance, choose your prosperity, in your realm.

Because too many people in this country vote for someone who seems like a person they can have a beer with, rather than someone who can do the job.

Another reason is that people think it makes them look "rich" to vote republican. I know a few recovering righties who have admitted this. So sad and foolish.

I live in a red state, so I know how the Republicans around me think.

They think that the Republican party=Christian morality. No kidding. That is honestly what they think.

These people are not voting on the future of our country. They are voting on abortion and gay marriage. Somehow they think that Jesus's message was one of bigotry.

Yeah, I don't get it either.

It's called patriotism. It's called supporting our government and our country. It's called respecting the elected officials of our country. It's called NOT being seditious.

Some of us don't expect give-aways. That's not what bills are for. They are for the betterment and protection of the country. How would giving YOU money help the country? That's just stupid. It's all about you, isn't it?
