why does the jerk attract so many women. It isn't like women like to be treated badly. It isn't the thrill of the catch or even the chase. We all get a bad boy, so why is it so hard to let them go when we know he is not good for us???

I dunno, some bad bois are smart mouthers which also can mean they are creative with the way they talk. ya know like he can come up with a smooth line, you never heard or thought of before. and because you do kinda want to reform him, but it's so much fun when he's bad...unless he's being bad with you (not the good bad, the bad bad)

Because the bad boys are sweet talkers. Also, girls have sex with the bad boy and it's hard to give the bad boy up because he might be really good in bed.

Even if we don't feel safe, that is out safety net.
Fear of Loneliness, weakness, and depression, low self esteem could all be factors in why women put themselves through so much with a man. I finally snapped and couldn't deal with it anymore and it was either leave and get out or Id eventually kill him, so I left.Took me 7 years...but I made it.

Women are wanting affirmation and approval from these guys. They figure that if they can get acceptance from these guys that they have attained a certain standing. Then these women can count themselves as winners amongst other women, who could not achieve this status.

I dated a boxer who was mean as hell. For me, it was power and protection. When we walked down the street, some people addressed him as "sir" and some even walked the other way. It was a feeling of power. I always thought he was my protector also. A year later, I had filed a order of protection against him for physical abuse. Go figure!

exciting in the butterflies-in-stomach and electricity-thorugh-the-body kind of way i guess. I believe nice guys are just found to be boring, although i prefer to be one than a "jerk" its just personal preference but i guess i woulnd mind being an a$$hole to some girls i know who deserve it.
