Probably by not talking so much and listening more. Otherwise just being educated and always ready to learn, and also being ready to say when you don't know something. In learning public speaking you would learn to talk on things you don't really know about just to sharpen your skills at speaking, and organizing your thoughts on the spur of the moment. But otherwise, you are much wiser to say less and listen more. Journaling might help you to see where your strenghts are, so less likely rubbish to emerge. A genuine question is more conducive to a wise answer.

Don't talk too much and listen more to others in their conversation. Be more sensitive to others when you talk.
