Everyones seen America's Funniest Home Videos(AFV) Before, Almost all the videos are of somebody getting hit in the jewels standing too close to the piniata, or somebody getting smaked in the face, or falling out of a tree, or trying to take on a whole nest of bees in just a face mask, over-alls, and a sweater, or SOMETHING like that. Why do humans find this funny?

We are so far removed from it that we can't identify with the person's pain right away. We think "wow, that had to hurt but I'm glad it wasn't me."

i'm a skeptic. it seems like half of those videos are staged just to go on that show. i have no sympathy. sh*t happens to all of us. we just don't go on tv and show the world how dumb we are. and why do all the stupid, (not funny) videos win? i hate that!

I think that becuz we don't know the people that we find more humour in it, but if it was us or someone we knew we would think twice about laughing.
