My trips:

That is to say, my shamanic outcries for life.

I love being a mother. Really. I didn't have my children til after I was 40. I had been a workacholic, never making time for much, and traveling all over. Then I found out I was pregnant, my husband was shocked and said this isn't good, but I was so happy. My daughter was born premature, doctors said she would not make it til two. However, I knew that if I put the time into her as I did with my work, I would help her overcome her disabilities. So I quit work and devoted my time to her. She taught me patience, she taught me that even the best laid out plans might have to change in a minutes notice, so just accept it. She taught me that I didn't have to be right, it wasn't a sign of weakness. I learned I had more to give in life to her and to others than I ever knew. From her and all that she went through I realize that money doesn't matter, and that you'd give it all away for your child not to suffer. She had many surgeries and I learned how lucky I am in life. Now that she is a teenager, she is just fine. No one would know she had problems if you didn't spend 24/7 with her. What is wonderful is the love back from her, she tells me how much she loves me and that how much I love her is the one thing she knows for sure. She gives so much to others and I hear from so many on what she has given or done for them. She doesn't look for a pat on the back, or acknowledgement. She has this amazing sense of self. I love what I learn from her and from becoming a mother I really learned what love is. I never thought I could love deeply, I always felt I held back a part of me from everyone, she broke through those feelings and made me realize so much about me that I never knew. So I can tell you this for sure, I love being a mother most in life, and my friends look at me with this look and say I never realized what a good mother you were until they spend some time visiting for weeks at our home, and this and this alone is the most important thing that ever has been or ever will be.

I think if you looked at my 'whole' life, and not just the section of it I'm in right now, you'd be more able to understand why I love it. You know that song "I've Never Been To Me"? I'm like both the singer and the person she's singing to. It's almost like I've been every person, but still managed to hold on to myself along the way. I really wish sometimes that memories could be turned into visual data that you could share with others, it would be an awesome experience to be able to see which roads people took and where they ended up and how you both ended up at the same place having gone completely different paths. I'm starting to get off topic so....yeah, life is good. Now I must get off my *** and go live some of it AWAY from Yahoo Answers! XD

The thing that I love most in life is my friends, even though they arn't always here for me, I know if I really need them I can just call out their names. This isn't even done by members of my family. If you just listen to what everyone says, you start to understand life more than most do. I think the most important thing in my life is figuring out who I am, and what I need to do, i dont want to end up working and McDonalds, not having any friends because I screwed up and changed too much, lieing about who I was. Things people often overlook in both my life, and theirs is that you control who you are and if you are happy or sad, etc...People dont seem to realize that things you do today could hurt you on in the future, not just in the few days after. Wow, i have absolutely no clue what I just wrote. Oh well I am going to post anyway.

Well, most of us are fortunate to have the sense organs working reasonably fine, and according to the situation we are exposed to, we gather impressions about what we see. The whole drama of life happens in a beautiful way. We enjoy, and cherish memories of all that. We describe it from memory and listeners too enjoy and appreciate it too well.
But, when an experience happens which is beyond the sense organs, I think it the most beautiful thing to happen in our life ! Quite reasonably, language itself is about only just describing whatever is the experience acquired through these sense organs. So, it is a bit difficult to talk about it. And perhaps why it sounds 'mystic', difficult to believe when people hear spiritual people talk about it. Others rarely get to notice this aspect 'in' us when it flowers ! When this 'others' to have had some similar experience , then perhaps they too happen to notice it, but again may not choose to mention it ! I consider such experiences to be most important parts of one's life !

I love thinking and people who make me think, for example my children. It's pretty humbling when you get out smarted by 2 and 3 year olds. They gang up on you, I swear. My wife keeps me on my toes and I do the same to her. The simple yet complicated act of being a father is the most beautiful thing I have experienced so far.

What I love most in my life is the life itself because life is one huge miracle that every single person on earth got it. Without it nothing else will be absolutely nothing. So, to show my biggest love to it, I try to appreciate every second that counts.
