You know...low pay...hospitality industry...entry-level position...rude, moody boss with no patience...workers come and go... but the coworkers are great.

Haven't we all at one time or another. Just a little advice, don't leave your job until you find another one. It seems that it is easier to find a job when you got a job.

YES! In the past I worked 3 miserable retail jobs and management really sucked. When I worked those jobs as a greeter there were times I wanted to walk out. Being a greeter in retail sucks by the way!
But you gotta remember that you are trying to pay your bills and if you walk off , would you have enough savings or money to last long?

I practically walked out on my last job by leaving them an I quit 2 weeks notice knowing I was not even scheduled for the next week and they didn't even schedule me for what could have been my last day, I got my last Pay stub the day before what could have been my last day as well.
I think they wanted me to quit to begin with since they really couldn't fire me, I won't even shop at Gap ever again.

I would love to walk out on my job. I am a social worker and it's insane where I work. Everyone is nuts. And I'm on my way there (nuts). I'll trade you jobs straight across.

i am in the exact same situation at my job and it sucks i always want to walk out but i dont ahve the balls cause im afraid of being out of work it really is a bad situation to be i know how u feel

I have and I loved it! All those nasty faces staring at me with shock as I just walked out leaving all of them in the lurch! When I walked out they all had to do triple time and do (my) work too, all those parts flying out of my machine and piling up on the floor!ha ha ha ha ha ha!!! I loved it ! They got just what they deserved for treating me like dirt!!!!! ha ha ha ha ha!!!!!!

a couple times i came close to being outta there. sometimes it's ok to suck it up, like when you need the income. but alway leave when you want to leave, not when someone else tells you.
