The pet store had it labelled as a Brown Spotted Shrimp. Cant find such a creature on the web.
He seems to be doing well, I guess.

But I was wondering what he eats.
He put his front legs up and they have "fans" on them and he looks like hes trying to catch stuff, then he puts them in his mouth.but I never see anything on them.

I have some other fish. Does he eat algae, fish food particles, what? I dont want him to starve, hes been "fanning" alot more than usual.
Yes I know I could call the pet store but I wanted to ask here.

they will eat anything they can find in the big outdoor saltwater oceans like falling flakes ,salt water, plants that grow under water, smaller shrimp, and smaller animals say an animal is to big you want to feed it freshwater fish(cant be normal water fish)other whise the fish will absorb the salt killing the shrimp chop it up rinse it quickly add salt give some of it to your shrimp(not all or else youll be over feeding it)after u gave it throw the fish away it cant be used again for you or the shrimp diced up clams or smaller clams anbd maybe fish flakes(im not sure)i never gave them to mine but many people believe is ok
