There is something missing, a hole inside of me. I don't know what caused it and I'm not sure how to make it go away. Everyday feels like I'm slipping farther away from something I lost. I feel as if I have forgotten something very important, as if something very close to me has been taken and I don't know what. It isn't anger or sadness or anything like that, it's just this gaping emptiness that gets worse with every passing moment. What is it I feel, why do I feel this way?

Both of these answers assume I am depressed, but that isn't the case.

Are you open to talking to a Therapist? This is something a good professional can help you figure out confidentially. Some companies offer services like this to their employees for free. You can usually find one willing to talk for little cash, up front anyhow.

There's a lot of questions that need to be asked to answer your questions correctly. Please find someone qualified in your area to help you answer them.

It sounds like depression... Could be triggered by a chemical imbalance. You should go to a doctor.
