I read on the SoapCentral http://www.soapcentral.com/atwt/news/2006/0703-hendrickson.php site that it was a suicide. But then I read nothing was confirmed. And because of the sensitivity of the subject to his family all rumours/speculations are prohibited in the forums. Understandably so, just in case any family members decide to seek support through reading fans condolences.

There was a Yahoo News story about this. It was a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Very sad.

Oh my go.....i hadn't heard that. Please explain. I grew up watching As the World Turns & Guiding Light. I know that Hendrickson wasn't there that early, but I haven't been able to watch alot lately because of work. I know that he had a substitute alot and that I always missed him on the days that I could watch. Please e-mail me if you have real news. That news hurts.
