I met this girl who is 12 yrs old at camp. She has a little sister who is 10 and a little brother who is 1 and a half. She moved across a couple of state lines half a year ago. She didnt talk a whole lot, but never made a fool of herself, and understood very mature concepts.
I asked her this question and she said she didnt know. Could it possibly be genetically related?

Most likely she has had greater exposure to mature concepts through conversation and interaction with adults at home, educational programs at school, through involvement in extra curricular activities and through the library. She is a little different but no better than you are. It's not a bad thing for a 12 year old girl to simply be a 12 year old girl. It is a great time and a great age to be. Enjoy! All the best.
