My nose and liver cant handle anymore "parties".

Life is what you make of it. It's like a roller coaster, having its ups and downs. No one can make a decision for your own life. Also, you cannot change the past, but you can make choices for the future ahead, making your life more fulfilling and meaningful. They say life is short indeed. You live your life fully one day at a time, along with your loved ones and friends, and that is the real fun thing in life that cannot live without. Life is not all about "parties" after all.

In case you haven't noticed we all get older and still have a good time .You don't need booze or drugs to have a good time .
I f where you are going is what you want to do then you should be able to have a great time.ie..out to dinner with the girls,going on a picnic with your husband,taking kids to the park,going to a dance.The everyday stuff can be great too.
Dry out and get clean and you will see the world alot different and may even find out that it's not so bad after all.
It's been 17 years for me and life is alot better all around.
I used to wear a shirt that said
''Drugs are for people that can't handle reality and reality is for people that can't handle drugs'' in away that's true , sad but true.
You will be surprised how much fun older people have just watch your grandparents .

The older you get the wiser you get !The difference is that you find life more interesting in the smaller thing you enjoy ,not the parties and the wild-thing you do now.You get older not die of boredom.

Life is different as you get older. You change to different kinds of fun that don't hurt you so much. Life isn't as wild, that's true, but it's still fun.

I think "at least for me" you start to respect certain things more like time with family or seeing old friends. You can still have fun but somehow you do it in a smarter fashion!

and thats whats sad about ageing --- Im only 23 but I cant seem to keep up with all the young ones at the clubs anymore - I got too much to worry about now, car pymts, school, the mortgage etc ..... OH TO BE YOUNG AGAIN!!!!

Geritol and pravachol don't have any kick, so, life isn't as much fun when you get old.
