How do u unapply for windows messenger?

I just can't figure out how to be entirely rid of it! I would at least like to know how to keep messenger from logging me in automatically, it's so annoying!!! I no longer use this service so I need to find some way to be rid of it or some how ignore it (like that's possible) PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!

Its simple, hope you know how to deal with settings, just disable messenger service running on your PC. Right click My Computer -> Manage -> services and application ->services -> select 'Messenger' from the list -> double click then 'Disable' and ‘Apply’.

It will never come up.

To stop it from logging you automatically you have to go to Tools then click options and then click on the left side on General, take off the check mark of Allow automatic sign in when connected to the internet. Then click Apply and Ok and it is not supposed to log you in automatically.

you can get rid of the service that runs in the background

click on start
click on control panel
click on 'add / remove programs'
on the left side of the add remove programs window, click on 'add / remove windows components'
wait till the window populates
look for 'windows messenger'
uncheck the windows messenger option
click next
wait till windows finishes installation
restart computer

disable automatic login (Tools Menu > Options > Accounts Tab, delete the password and hit OK)

You can try uninstalling it, if thats doesn't work then don't log into it for a while. try disabling the software.

IT IS VERY EASY FIRST GO TO CONTROL PANEL CLICK ADD/REMOVE PROGRAM THERE AT END THERE WILL BE 3 OPTINS OF YAHOO THEN CLICK ANY ONE JUST ONCE THEN THERE WILL BE BUTTON OF REMOVE CLICK IT THEN DO SAME FOR OTHER 2 THEN YOU CAN COMPLETELY REMOVE MESSENGER
