You need to be more specific. What operating system and email program are you are using? Have you tried uninstalling the program, etc. The program should open regardless of whether or not you are logged on the internet!

income/outgoing server settings not sit correctly, or password issue. Call ISP and have them reset the password on their end, and you do the same on yours. Same with server sittings.
