I believe positively that all people are needed in this world. How do you know if you are the positive. The negative people prove your positivity. Personally, since I am not a gang banger and I am spiritual and loving, I am a positive person.

The wealthy who give to causes for tax breaks isnt a positive contribution.
The poor, the poor working class and even the upwardly mobile who still must work to stay mobile who give even when they should be saving to any good cause has given a "positive contribution to society" especially those who have done this for years, perhaps more especially to those who are poor yet rich in compassion.
I like to think in such a situation I would survive for not merely my monetary contributions to society but my physical labor in volunteerism for over 35 years to those less fortunate,or in immediate need children, the elderly, the sick, the orphan, and others.

I don't know if I would survive or not...I hope so. But if the only people to survive were the ones who've made positive contributions, you'd probably lose more than 50%.

I play by the rules. I work for a living, I don't commit crimes. I'm willing to contribute to society rather than merely take from it.

I believe I would survive. I volunteer time to teach people in my community to read. This helps them ensure their own welfare and get jobs. I also volunteer for Search & Rescue.
