Absolutely.

You are will be fertile, and have eggs that can fertilize until you go through menopause. Many women in their mid 40's, and part way through menopause have and do get pregnant.

With menopause, and for some people before then you can have an irregular period. Some women it is irregular enough that they can actually ovulate at the same time that they are having their period.

Some people try and use the rhythm method as a form of birth control, and many, many women with irregular periods have gotten pregnant because the timing for them is completely unreliable.

I had EXTREMELY irregular periods from onset of puberty to about the age of 30 when I went on birth control pills to correct the period problems. My first child was born at age 32 and my second was born at age 33...both conceived on birth control pills. My doctor explained that sometimes the body doesn't have enough progesterone to regulate the period and that's basically what bc pills are. For people that have progesterone problems or fluctuations the pill can actually have the opposite effect and act as a fertility drug.
Yes you can get pregnant.

Yes, you can. I have had irregular periods since age 11 and was put on birth control pills at age 13 to regulate them. I went off the pill last fall at age 32 and started trying to get pregnant in February of this year. After going off the pill my periods went back to every 50-60 days but we were pregnant within 2 months. You still ovulate, just not as often as someone with normal periods. We didn't use fertility drugs, etc... just relax, have sex and it will happen.

Good Luck!

Yes, you certainly can. A friend of mine has endometriosis, and tried for 15 years to have a baby. She just gave birth last month, and she is 37 years old. Even if some doctors say you can't conceive, unless you have had a procedure which would prevent it, such as a tubal ligation, they could be wrong. I know people who were told they could have no children. One of them has a 6 year old, 3 year old twins, and is now pregnant with number 4. Just keep trying. You may also try speaking with a fertility specialist to help you.

If you have irregular periods, there is a chance you have a problem. You can get your period and not ovulate. Polycystic Ovarian syndrome is a common problem, that causes irregualar periods and infertility. You should see your Dr. and be checked out to see what is causing your irregular menses. Check out some of the web sites for Pcos. You will be surprised what you might find. Good luck and see your Dr.

Have you ever had your doctor run tests to find out why you have irregular periods? Sometimes having them can mean that you have hormonal problems. If you are having periods it means that you are ovulating and can become pregnant, but if you have low hormones it can also cause a miscarriage. Go see your doctor.

I would inquire about clomid with your doc. I have the same problem with my periods. My doc told me that woman who have irregular cycles who do not want to get pregnant go on the pill and the ones who do wish to get pregnant go on clomid. Each one will help regulate your cycle.

Yes. As long as you haven't hit menopause and your periods haven't completely stopped all together. If they have find out why. But as long as you have periods, that means that your still ovulating. Because your body is clensing itself.
