It varies. Not all years are 365 days long. And there are such things as leap seconds, both backward and forward, if you believe that.

However, in a regular non-leap year, there are 1 year * 365 days/year * 24 hours/day * 60 minutes/hour * 60 seconds/minute = 31536000 seconds.

60*60*24*365.25 or you could multiply by 365 for a regular year and 366 for a leap year
