In my opinion, Macromedia Dreamweaver is the best website maker out, after Microsoft FrontPage. If you want something easy to use but still has some advanced features, get FrontPage (FrontPage does not work on Mac). Dreamweaver isn't as simple but is still somewhat easy to use after you get used to it. It has many more features than FrontPage. Both allow you to edit the html. In fact, Dreamweaver has an "Split" option for you to see both the designed page and the html at once.

There is another option that I just thought of, and it is FREE! Heard of Yahoo! SiteBuilder? It is the easiest website maker that I have used, and it still lets you create professional websites! This software lets you have lots of control over the exact layout of the page, which is sometimes difficult to master with more complicated website editing software! I think this is a better option for you, since you mentioned how you need something somewhat easy. I think it allows you to edit the html...However, if you really need something that will allow you to use html, the two I recommended above are probably more friendly when it comes to editing the html.

Creating professional websites takes a LOT of time, regardless of what some people advertise! But it is worth it! I actually started building websites when I was 13, like you (I'm 14 now). Be sure to visit websites that you like to get ideas from and to read tips and advice on making websites, which you can find online. I WISH YOU LUCK!

You can download Yahoo! SiteBuilder here: http://webhosting.yahoo.com/ps/sb/index.php

Download and install Nvu from http://www.nvu.com . It's almost like using MS Word but creates very clean code for you that you can review and learn something about HTML from it.
