i bought an air freshener and used an adhesive it came with to put it on my leather dashboard, but now that i take off the air freshener i cannot take off the adhesive along with it? do you guys have any tips or tricks to take it off?

Try a little lemon oil or old english furniture oil. Let it soak onto the leather for about 30 minutes and then rub it off. Or try smearing peanut butter on it and scrubbing it off. I don't think these oils would hurt leather, at least it won't dry it out.

you could try Saddle Soap made to clean leather.
Usually can find it in some shoe sections by the laces and polish

there is a product called goo gone it works very well and doesn't damage what you are trying to clean

nail polish remover it also works on tape and bandaid goo

try some rubbing alcohol on the glue...
