Nazi is uncalled for. Neocon isn't an epithet, however. It's a classification of a political point of view.

The answer to your question is probably the same answer to the question, "Why do conservatives always ask why liberals hate America/Don't support the troops/Hate the flag."

Basically the tone of political debate in this country has been so lowered that a discussion degrading into insults is now the norm. Look at the cable news shows. The pundits getting all the press are the lowest bottom feeders who make their living by that sort of low level of discourse. I point to the likes of Ann Coulter as a prime example. She should have been marginalized a long time ago, yet she gets all kinds of press.

What perplexes me is why you think "neocon" is a pejorative term when it actually was coined by conservatives, not liberals.

I'd be happy to have a political discussion with you, and I wouldn't call you names. But keep in mind that liberals aren't the only ones privy to name-calling. I've seen some very hateful rhetoric spewed by conservatives as well ("libtard," "libturd," etc.).

Because your thought process and beliefs reflect those of a Nazi or Neocon.

Okay how about this for a counter-point:why do conservatives keep calling liberals intolerant, sinful, and hypocrites. Both sides take cheap shots at one another- trying to act as if conservatives don't take the low road is the essence of hypocrisy. Don't make insults if you can't take them.

Eathan my good man, you know I use the word NEOCON liberally (pun intended). NEOCON is NOT name calling, I thought we've been over this last week.

Most people that bother to discuss politics are biased and naive.

I think your answer lies in the 5th word of your question. Get over the label and maybe I will get over the label too.

Because you put up questions like this instead of trying to engage in mature conversation with us.
