It would be a bit helpful to get more definitive about best, but I agree with Sharp Marble, good business practices can be found at companies who make the top places to work list. Fast Company also lists innovative companies... The corporation I work for has made every single top 100 list, as well as Fast Companies innovative list...
If you want to get direct insight into great business practices you can read the applications of Baldridge winning companies. Robert Wood hospital was a recent winner of the Baldridge criteria. The criteria itself is non prescriptive, but directed towards what an agile company with sustainable business practices should have in its business model. in general baldridge winning companies outperform the S&P 500 by 500%.

check out fortune magazine's 100 best companies to work for - they don't reank them by money, but you will see that good well-run company's make a lot of money. Starbucks, Hallmark and Whole Foods are on the list. They are good b/c of things like philanthropy, emmployee benefits, flex hours, childcare, cont. education, etc. I don't think they make a list of bad companies - Enron has to be one of the worst though.
