The Eagles are possibly in the toughest division in the NFL this season. They have to play the Cowboys, Redskins, and Giants twice. All three teams should be highly competitive. The Eagles will need to completely turn around from terrible seasom last year while playing some of the toughest competition.

My vote is no the will miss the playoffs by a game or two.

The eagles are definitely a better team then they were last year, but look at all the other teams in the NFC East. Dallas just picked up the BEST reciever in the game, TO of course, and are a big favorite for this division. The redskins have also picked up some nice additions, including randle el and brandon lloyd. those two will work magic teamed with santana moss and clinton portis. then theres the NY giants. With newly aquired lavar arrington, there defense should jump up from decent to pretty damn good. not only will there defense be improved, but they now have an experieced quarterback who has proved to be excellent under pressure (eli manning), and one of the NFL's best rushers: Tiki Barber. Along with great WRs by the names of Plaxico Burress and Amani Toomer. With all this said, lets go back to the Eagles. Who have they picked up this offseason that will improve their offense? Jeff Garcia? I dont think so. The Eagles will be overshadowed by all the talent in the NFC East, and will probably end up winning just 50% of their games.

No. The Cowboys and the Redskins made a lot of moves that drastically improved their teams, while the Eagles stayed stagnant. Westbrook and McNabb are great but any injury to either of them will kill the Eagles season and you know they both have a history of injuries.

Not having Mike McMahon on the roster is worth 4 or 5 wins. No Terr-ell Owens, healthy McNabb, and all things considered, yes, definitely, the playoffs. Can't wait to see Brian Dawkins do a "Crumpler" on T.O.

i don't believe of so. they are going to certinatly do extra acceptable than very last 365 days, yet with Manning maturing, gaps crammed and a competent operating recreation, I see the Giants taking your branch, and perchance you coming 0.33 to Washington (who can probably be a wild card team) For me, the numerous issue is concepts in the passing recreation for you, and McNabb attending to the degree the position he's starting up to age. The strains, and aspects of the secondary seem reliable although, now to not teach Akers on your kicking recreation.

No, that division is too good, the giants, redskins, and cowboys made good moves in the offseason to improve thier teams, the eagles havent really done much.

E-A-G-L-E-S . . . They have sured up their defensive pash rush, which will relieve the secondary a bit. A healthy team with less sources of distraction will be much better off this year. I see them going deep into the playoffs.

Dear lord I hope so!

I think they can, but much depends on the strength of their division, particularly whether or not T.O. implodes Dallas before the end of the season, since I feel it is a given he will. The situtation with him leaving Philly for Dalls mirrors him leaving San Fran for Philly PERFECTLY.
