You should provide a flood of Yahoo questions as a means of communicating with him during his addictive moments.

Try it out yourself, and maybe you'll become interested. If not, I would suggest leaving him be about it, so long as it doesn't intefere with your relationship.
I have sort of the same issue with my boyfriend. I'm addicted to the internet, and he loves to study. As long as that doesn't affect our relationship, then I see no reason to dictate what he does when I am not around, and vice versa.

Find a new boyfriend. Any person addicted to something is shallow and one dimensional. Obviously he isn't that interested in you, and you could surely do better than him.
Let him have his fun and you go have yours.... with someone else.

Pull the plug. for a week and do something together like,
walks,movies,parks,visit family,dinner etc.
Learn to talk to one another agian.
remind him that life can be so much fun w/out yahoo.

i got the same problem shes in y/a all the time i tell her shes putting me aside she denies it it has cause allot of problems between us and yet she don't gIve it up ive had ittt
