I'm doing reasearches these days about meditation and it seem Buddhist meitation has a speciality than the other ones. it is said Buddhism is not a rilegion but a philosophy. Can anyone explain it to me.

There are many different types of meditation. I believe they're all equally helpful; different types for different people. :)

Buddhism and meditation aren't necessarily related. You can be one without the other (i.e. I meditate regularly, but don't really identify with the Buddhist religion). Or you could be both.

Here's a site on heart rhythm meditation, which I'm currently taking a seminar on, and enjoying immensely. :)

Hi I am a Buddhist , yes I meditate .

Could you kindly explain what is the speciality that you mentioned earlier ?

There are some great books in your local library.......LOOK UNDER MEDITATION or go to a Barnes and Noble..........GOOD LUCK DUDE or DUDETTE>>>>>By the way, I do meditate at different times of the day when needed to reduce stress or just to take a few minutes break from the daily routine called REALITY>...................PEACE TO ALL!!!!

I usually meditate while I masturbate... and it usually doesn't last more than a few seconds.

I guess it means that Buddhism doesn't teach to say live this certain way, or not live this certain way, but rather it says to live a good life and discover your inner self.
