get a baby name book and sit down with her crossing out every name she doesn't like. Circle the ones that she does like. Go through the list several times and you will be surprised by the name that ends up being the one left. My name is the last two girl names that were left when my parents did this and it has always fit me and is pretty on top of it. Good luck .... Oh my suggestion is James. James Ray or Jimmy Ray. He wont be teased over that one.

Leo or Leon...both names are associated with lions, the king of beasts, as well as sunshine which ties in with Ray.

As it is her baby, it should be her decision. But if she is looking for another name herself, then Donavon is a nice name.

Does she want to change it or is she being coerced into changing it. If it is a name she wants to give her son it is up to her.
