Here's what I suggest people in your situation to do. The right outfit can look wrong on one person and right on another, so you have to find your own style. But try watching the Style network or going to fashion websites like Macys or even Gucci. You don't have to buy expensive brands if you can't afford it,just look and see what you like. Then when you go shoppin you'll have an idea of what you want to shop for.

Several looks are in. One look that is popular and looks good on just about every one is black capri pants that are not too tight, black highs and a neutral fitted jacket that hits you right above the hip bone. As long as you do not wear it so small that the buttons pull you will look great. The same look is good with a nice pair of flats, not flip flops.

an "in" outfit really really is (even though it sounds soo cliche) your style - if you try to wear something that just isn't you, no matter how "in" it may seem, you won't feel "in" wearing it. that said, try layering... its a great way to add personality and creativity to an outfit while making it unique. people don't notice outfits that they have... wearing "in" clothes that everyone has won't make you stand out. so wear what you want, be creative and have fun!

No one can really teach you style. Pick out what you like and match them with other things you like. Key word: match. If you don't think your ensemble works, then ask for help. Don't worry about being in. Most people who do, end up being out, whatever that means. The most stylish people are the ones who are not afraid to be themselves.

Wear what you are most comfortable in. Then change it up with hip accessories like a funky belt, cute scarf, fun jewelery. Create your own style, be a leader not a follower.
