Well, is this really so hard to understand? If you say that in 2003 the MAJORITY of the Americans have agreed to invade Iraq let me mention that this world is NOT only America and the rest of the world including the United Nations has clearly said NO to it. So America did what it did best, it used their media to convince the American people to support the war. Now 3 years later the people slowly start to see the real picture of this war and related events. As people are usually if they start realizing to be wrong, they try to point to someone and that is the President.
On the other hand with his decisions he (the President) has guided this planet to the edge of a disaster. Nobody has the USA appointed to be the world police. It is not American business to what the American government likes to call the “liberation” of other nations. It maybe a good idea to start fixing the huge problems at home instate of telling other nations what is good for them.
Just think what you would feel and do, if someone from some other city come and try to tell you how you have to live your life. And if you don't agree, he will start terrorizing and shooting you and your family using his virtually unlimited arsenal of weapons. Not the same? What is the difference? Think about it.
I think that the American people have done tremendous mistakes in the last 6 years by allowing their Mr. Bush to do what he did and still do. (btw. His positions getting worse) and if the American people will not take the right action to correct and repair the damage America has coursed the “hate” will shift from the President to the American people. Not Hitler paid the price for his actions; it was and is the German people who pay the price until today. History repeat it self just in a larger scale.

why is it conservatives say "you don't know what's going on"... yet never actually tell us "what's going on"?
I mean are you defending the ports (giving them to a country with many more links to al-queda than Iraq, according to the 9-11 report)... CIA leak (was that right? you can run around about the legality, but morally? And Bush is all about morals)... and I guess the supreme court doesn't even understand the tribunals, since they overturned them... they are pretty stupid aren't they?
and you didn't even mention harriet meyers or nominating brownie (two people clearly over qualified for the positions... hahaha)?
I guess all those daily bombings in Iraq are a step up from the hourly bombings that were occurring? I just saw where another Iraqi judge was assassinated the other day?
OH and don't forget the two wildly successful programs that Bush pushed.... medicaid prescription plan (that only works for half of the seniors) and No Child Left Behind (which has resulted in more state law suits than student progress... and almost every teacher hates it)
in the end... he's guilty of being a poor president who supports poor policies... he's guilty of being the Republican Jimmy Carter...

Where would you like me to start?
I have been against Bush before he was elected the first time. When we were atacked on 9/11, I wanted to kill someone too, but I was totally against Bush's insane Doctrine of Preemption and going into Iraq. Thankfully, this idiotic plan seems to be dead, I dont think it would work very well against N. Korea.
Too much of the nation is unaware that we are in a war.
Although the regular forces and National Guard are both being exhausted by their continued forced rotations, and it will take generations for the debt over this war to be paid, instead of any sacrifice asked of this nation, we get tax cuts.
Someone on this site mentioned that this war has had a small amount of casualties- tell that to the families.
Are you saying that you understand this administration?
So do I, and they have been criminally incompetent, at the very least.
Rove is guilty, just maybe not able to be proved in a court of law. Have you ever betrayed a trust, even unintentionally? Did you pay a price or get a medal of honor?
I wont even get started on the so-called Patriot Act, or illegal wire-tapping, and on and on and on........
I only pasted a couple of sources, so much to pick from, I just grabbed the first I ran across.

Are you kidding? Everybody jumped on the I hate Bush Bandwagon in 2004? Are you asleep.
Back in 2002 most folks agreed with the use of force in IRAQ because Bush, Condi Rice, Cheney, and Powell all LIED to us in that Saddam Hussein was directly involved in the 9/11 attacks, and that Saddam HAD WMDs (although no one else agreed with this). Oh, yeah, I forgot, Bill O'Reilley, Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Anne Coulter and others rabidly helped spread this disinformation.
The CIA leak Case, was misuse of power, whereby someone(apparently Chenney) in Bush's White House, leaked information to the press about a CIA operative. Well such is against the law.
Karl Rove is guilty of LYING to a Grand Jury, that is LYING in court about the leaking of information.
Regarding fighting a war and then getting tired of it. That's NOT the case here. We WON the war, we ousted Saddam. Bush declared the war won.
So why are we there???
Regarding staying the course, we are occupiers, not liberators. OCCUPIERS. Profits for Halliburton, profits for the companies providing weapons and war materiel and others. We are there for OIL.
The Ports Deal, Most Republican representatives were against that. It was not Dubai, it was the United Arab Emirates. But again, a firm in the UAE, wholly owned by by the Sultanate of Dubai. Basically, a group of hawkish U.S. lawmakers, cited national security concerns, blocked the deal to give a major Arab company control over a British firm that runs some U.S. ports.
"Senator Vito J. Fossella, a Republican representing the New York City boroughs of Staten Island and Brooklyn, said the deal was inconsistent with U.S. efforts to enhance national security. "The lack of transparency has left many questions unanswered as to why the UAE would be granted control of United States strategic assets," he said.
Another U.S. senator said that Washington should not trust the government of the UAE, notoriously lax in the war on terror, especially after the Sep. 11, 2001 attacks on U.S. landmarks, in which two of the hijackers were from that country."

Everybody doesn't hate him. Lots of people couldn't stand Clinton, either. I agree that there is a lot of misinformation on Iraq. Now that WMD have been found, will all the columnists & celebrities who insisted there weren't any apologize? I am not a huge fan of the President. I understand why so many people are unhappy with him, but he has done some good things. Also, people need to understand that very US few soldiers have been killed in this war. Our loss of life has been quite minimal compared to other wars.

Everybody hates Bush because that seems to be the cool thing to say now a days. They are ignorant and have no idea what goes on in the day to day life of the President. I think everyone has the right to like or dislike him, but I will only consider it fair if the person has a general knowledge about him. Most of these idiots on here have no idea about their own existence....they lack the mental capacity to make an informed decision.......Republicans run our country well......thats why we continue to be the majority even among all this drama. I support our President, and admire him. If I offended anyone......im not sorry.

You're right that you shouldn't support a war and then change your mind later and decide you hate the person who started it, but that's what a lot of people are doing. People wanted to win immediately - that was what they expected when the war started - and now that it's been dragging on they are sick of it and want it over with. A lot of people seem to think that you can just pull the troops out whenever you want without any consequences, and they think that since Bush won't do it, he must have some terrible ulterior motive. What it comes down to is that people decide they don't like him their minds are made up and nothing he can do from now on will make a difference.

People dont think/ realize/ recognize / respect that the President is a man like any other. He makes choices based upon what he BELIEVES to be the right or best thing to do given the circumstances. Some of his choices are good, some arent so good--just like the choices made by any person in their own journey in life. I'm sure the President, like anyone else, would be ecstatic to find a magic telescope that would enable him to see the outcomes of every possible choice BEFORE he made a decision to ensure the best outcome; but such does not exist. So, like the rest of us, he does the best he can.

Bush is a war criminal. He ignored the requests of the United Nations of which the USA is a member and started a war against Iraq. He has let members of the USA armed forces act against the Geneva Convention. He has broken the word of the USA and its' people to the rest of the world. We are all glad to see his 8 years is up and are all praying that Clinton will run again.
