Simple, by getting Cu** , oh I mean Bush, out of office. Then it will be another commander-in-chief Dr. Hawking can correct when wrong.
Seriously, how can a man responsible for 30,000 Iraqi civilian deaths and over 1,000 American deaths be called beloved?? I say Bush and Osama have a lot in common, both think they are doing God's bidding, both have terrorised a nation, and both are rich baby brats. The only difference is that Bush does his terrorising from an office.

I am quite unable to understand the questioner's premise that Hawking is "smearing" the President. It is true that Bush has made some remarks that are scientifically unjustifiable, and it is possible that Hawking has commented adversely on such, but I am not aware of any such comments. Dr. Stephen Hawking is probably the smartest man on the planet, and if he is against bush, then who can argue a valid point?
bush is an illiterate hill-billy who rode to high office on his daddies coat-tails! I despise the greedy bastard, ans so would you if you had any common sense in regards to this "war" on terror.
I support our troops but bush was an a.w.o.l. fly-boy who couldn't pass a physical training test let alone a spelling test!!!

Dr Stephen Hawking should not talk without a cause....He probably had an excuse.... Check all the story and don't judge with emotion.
On the other hand....there is always the aspect of "politics"....
