What the **** is going on on that island?

In the end it appeard that Desmond's fiance had people looking for the island, because she knew what to look for 0the magnetic anomaly. Maybe her father is involved somehow?

I think it's an island that has some sort of magnetic polarizations... and/or it's a psychological experiment by people who want to know how other people react to different things or consequences... thus the different hatches for recording of notes, surveillance, etc.
However, it doesn' t explain (as of yet) how the survivors are linked to one another and/or miracles seem to happen like Locke started to walk again after being in a wheelchair; the African American woman (forgot her name) whose cancer just disappeared and Sun being pregnant after it has been established that her hubby cannot have children at all...
It is an interesting and intriguing show. Perhaps, once the seasons or years pass by (depending on the ratings), we will know one by one what the island is really all about...

The last episode I seen was when Michael got his son back for exchange for the doctor, Harley, the girl the doctor likes and Sawyer. Harley was released so that he can tell the others not to follow. Harley was hurt to learn that Michael killed the girl he loved. Michael left with his son on a boat and who knows if he'll be back on the show. But I believe he will tell what happen at the island even though he killed people and may have to do time, but maybe he won't have to do time because of the circumstances.

Well lots of things, The two girls with DUIs got shot by Michael and he tricked hurley, jack, kate and sawyer into going to rescue his son and he really took them to the others and they let michael and his son go and also realeased hurley to go back to camp. Locke stopped pushing the button and broke the computer. Desmond arrived at the island in a sailboat. But basically I don't know what the hell is going on
