Now that you're peeling, gentle exfoliation and deep moisturizing will move the process along. You should probably see a dermatologist though, because burns that severe might develop an infection. Be prepared for the "stay out of the sun" lecture, but you seriously need to see a Dr.---especially about the swelling. Do have a fever? If so, you shoud see your Dr. immediately!!

I would use Aloe Vera lotion if I were you... It stops the pain from the burning and also helps with the peeling. You can also go to a drugstore and get some spray on relief if the pain is too bad, just ask the pharmacist which brands are best.

Use an aloe vera based lotion to keep yourself very moisturized. Apply it as often as possible, so it stays moist. The Aloe Vera will help in the healing, and also help avoid as much scarring as possible. It really shouldn't scare though, as long as you keep the lotion on it.
Next time, try the brand "No Ad" sunblock in spf 60...I believe Wal*Mart is one of the few places that carry it. Its the only brand I've found to be 60 spf, plus it really works.
I hope you feel better soon.

Aloe Vera, and possibly see a doctor/dermatologist.
As for the NO AD suntan lotion. I had a VERY bad experience with that one year. I lathered up with uber-lotion (SPF 60) one day [most of this is hearsay, I was little at the time so don't remember the details] several times, at yet got HORRIBLY burnt. They don't advertise it for a reason. And never shop at Wal-Mart. ;-)

If it is burnt more than one layer, go see a doctor. That type of sunburn could become infected and you would have a permanent scar.

Rub on the aloe vera gel and visit a ER and good luck.
Don't do that ever again, The rays can fry your internal organs, sort of how a slice of hamburger meat fry's on the grill, and it can kill you. Yeah, disqusting....

You might want to see a doctor. It almost sounds like you have 2nd or 3rd degree burns, and those can't be fixed w/ mear aloe vera.
