Think about it in certain circumstances if you want. I would like to see if different situations would affect your decisions.

Its called defense of a third person, it falls under the same concept of self-defense. If you can prove that your killing was in defense of the third (or 10 people) then you have a working defense. You must prove that there was a violation of those persons (bodies) and you used reasonable force to deter that violation. Both of these must be proved both subjectively and objectively. Example: a person is holding 10 people hostage with a gun ,you sneek up and shoot him. That is justifiable.

1. 10 Children (under 16) threatening the life of one innocent old man or woman? If I had to kill all 10 to save the one, I'd do it. Children threatening people don't deserve to remain in the gene pool.
2. 10 adults threatening the life of someone caught molesting a child. I'd join the 10 adults. The someone here also doesn't deserve to have his genes remain in the gene pool.
3. One person guarding an escape route from 10 people running from the flood waters of a damaged dam. That person is history.
4. One person with a vial of toxic chemicals or biological agents or even a hand grenade threatening the lives of other people? You bet. He's history.
5. One person too many in a lifeboat that's sinking? That's hard to decide. If there were an older person among them, I'd suggest he go willingly, or else we'd have to throw him overboard.
6. My wife stands in the way of myself and 9 other people in some way? I'd join her and give the other nine a chance.

Hey, the situations are endless. You need to state a specific situation, then pose your question. Generalities aren't worth discussing.

Give me a time machine and a grenade - I'd go back to 1920 or so and kill Adolf Hitler, and hope that would change history enough to save the lives of 11 million plus people.... If a murderer was about to kill ten people, and I could, yes, I'd kill him.

If the person to be killed was not intending to *cause* the deaths of ten others, then I really don't think I'd know what to do.

for an similar reason that each individual knows about the Natalie Holloway case, yet when it were slightly black lady contained in the ghetto you'll in straight forward words listen about it for a week. there is two motives for it as I see it, race, and the actual incontrovertible reality that the yank media would not pay a lot interest to it, so we are no longer uncovered to those pictures too a lot, in a lot a similar way the media ignores political applicants they don't accept as true with, and the actual incontrovertible reality that they don't teach a lot video of the conflict (project performed) anymore, they don't favor us to concentration on those issues. T.V=Opium for the lots. As for abortion, this is only a political device at this aspect. The Christians are so contradictory besides, they hate abortion, imagine birth control is a sin, (because the bare human body and taking excitement in sex for this is personal sake is "dirty") yet they infrequently undertake orphans, or maybe as they do, this is even extra infrequently black little ones. thanks for the sermon chum, placed it aside for the pulpit.

Depends on the people. Would I kill my brother to save 10 people I didn't know? No. Would I kill someone random to save 10 people I loved? Probably.

If i had to then yes I would . If me and 10 others were being held against our will and I had a chance to save us all then I could do it. It wouldn't be easy but you have to do what you have to do in order to protect yourselves and sometimes others you don't even know.

The most valuable thing would be to let yourself die to save the other 11 ones.

Depends..do I like the person I'm supposed to kill ? or do like the 10 people ?? or do I like them both equally ?? It depends on who these people where to me .. you get what I'm saying.. if i don't know any ofthe people involved then I wouldn't give a damn about any of them. soo let them all die. no skin off my back if i don't care about them.

I would not hesitate if the 10 others were children. Or members of my family.
