I think a cute cocktail dress in a casual material, like cotton, would be nice. Strappy sandals...that sort of thing. Ann Taylor Loft is a great place to start...or Express. Have fun!

If it is a summer wedding...Nice calf-length skirt, short or long sleeved top that is a lighter color than the skirt, sandals, if in the evening a sweater is OK, optional purse.
Preferably solid colors.

Shirt and tie for guys. They say casual, but noone ever does it. Plus you can take off the tie and look fine.

if its summer, spring, or fall wedding a sundress and strappy heels would be nice
if its a winter wedding then a nice blouse, skirt, and knee high boots (flat or heeled) would be great
