why do girls lie?

My GF wants a baby, she was on the pill, she stopped unknown to me and is allergic to latex. Now she is pregnant, which she is estatic about. I have a year left on my med school and we'd get married and start a family, Why couldn;t she just wait

maybe she was afraid that once you became a doctor that you wont want her... or maybe its because shes a b*tch

Whatever the reasons, it was extremely inconsiderate for her to have done that, and I'm sorry. At the same time however, if you WERE willing to start a family with her immediately after graduating, which you say would have been in only a year, then it's not really as bad of a situation as you're making it seem. I have a feeling that you really weren't sure if you wanted to marry her and have children with her, so now you are trying to make yourself a victim to assuage your guilt.

In any event, the only thing you can do now is have a good long (honest) talk with her and decide on what it is you both really want in life, and prepare to be the best father you can be (whether or not you end up marrying your girlfriend) because that part in inevitable!

If you really do have a year left in med school then you should know that having unprotected sex means a possible pregnancy. You also know that there are alternatives to latex condoms and you could have easily put one of those on. When you made the choice to have unprotected sex with your girlfriend you made the choice to have a possible pregnancy. You should also know that even taken regularly under the best possible circumstances "the pill" is not 100% effective. If you really did NOT want a child then you should have taken responsibility to wear a condom EVERY TIME or abstain from sex completely. You didn't...grow up and deal with the consequences of your actions.

girls lie... guys lie... there is no single answer for why. i would guess that she really felt she was ready. i am sorry that she didn't respect your desire to wait just a little longer. on the up side... you'll have just a SMALL amount of time left in school when the baby's born! if you are really in love with her, try to be supportive of her pregnancy. it may take you a LONG time to get over the feelings of betrayal that you are more than likely experiencing right now... BUT, you are about to become a daddy! there will never be ANYONE that you will ever love as much as that little pink person! i would recommend some counseling for you and your girlfriend now... if you want to work through this and be a family, there's no better time to seek help. you probably know someone that is planning to specialize in psychology... Two possible reasons in my opinion. Either she really just wanted to have a child and didn't want to wait around. Or she feels insecure and is hoping that the child will ensure you will be around. Some girls will "trap" guys this way. You know your girlfriend better than we do, ask yourself why she would do this. Are things ok in the relationship? If so why would she stop the pill without letting you know? This should be a great concern of yours. That's a pretty big thing to keep from someone.

aww so thats why ur mad u need to talk to ur girfriend about this and don't take it out on the world and there are more then just latex condoms u know. But still u need to tell her how u feel before u get married. All i can say is stay in school now is not the time to dropout. Good luck.

Just like I tell my son, NEVER BELIEVE ANYONE BUT YOURSELF!! - You should have made sure that you protected yourself, pullout if she cannot wear a condom - - that is not 100%, but the chances would have been much slimmer of you actually getting her pregnant... Many women feel that this will be a guarantee of the man staying there and what they do not realize is that they take so much away from the actual relationship when both of you are are not mentally ready to have an addition to the family... Unfortunately, you fell for it., but let this be a lesson to you and know to do things yourself as others will do the same for themselves not caring what you think...

Girls lie because they are selfish and immature. Guys need to be responsible and use a different kind of condom. There are condoms that are not latex. There are also many other forms of Birth Control.

She's selfish and immature! She's obviously untrustworthy too considering she never told you she stopped the pill and you thought she couldn't get pregnant. You should leave her before she makes your life hell.
