Yes. The conception is performed in a test tube. The zygote is then transferred to a human mother, where development occurs as in a baby conceived within the mother's womb.
So yes, both babies would have umbilical cords, and thus, have belly buttons.

Ofcourse it would. You will grow a placenta which is the sac around the baby. The umbilical cord is attached from baby to placenta, this is the only way the baby can get nourishment from you, other wise it would not survive. After u have given birth, the cord is cut then you will have more contractions to push out the placenta, providing there are no complications. Sometimes the doc has to give an injection so the placenta comes out. After the cord is cut the doc will put a clip on the remaining bit left on belly button, this will turn black, and drop of within a week or two. It actually looks like a peice of licorice!!

Yes! The sperm and the egg are fertilized outside the body, but then it's placed in the woman's cervix-where (hopefully) the baby will grow and be born just like every other baby. With a belly button!

Of course. They only conceive the baby in a test tube. It still has to be carried in utero by a living breathing woman!

lol. That's a funny one.
But to answer the question: yes. Test tube babies are actually inseminated in the lab, then inserted into a woman's uterus. So it will go through the normal process from there.

they aren't born in a test tube. In fact they aren't even conceived in a test tube, they are conceived in a petri-dish and then 3 days later placed into the womans uterus with a fine catheter.
Do some research before asking silly questions in future.
