Look to see if there is a very small hole either to the left or right of the tray. If so, try unbending a paper clip and insert it into the hole. This should allow you to open the tray. You can do this same thing to free a CDROM from a computer's drive. Hope this helps.

flathead screwdriver or a knife gently pry on it. it has worked for me on the ps2 and a dvd player

go to where you got your pS2 and they will tell you or fix it them selves. did you get a warranty if you did you can get another one without paying
