Seventeen has a lot of advertisements that are bought. All the skin and hair products in the magazine have paid the magazine to use them. Seventeen is great for ideas, but not necessarily for products.

Hi, I would like to suggest my website for all you to have as an alternative to OTC makeup. I have just started with a company called Arbonne International Swiss Skin Care. They have awesome products that are pure, safe and beneficial. There are no animal by-products and never tested on animals. Through this company I just learned something about makeup that I never knew and that is it has ingredients from rendering plants. Just google "rendering plants" and read what is in your makeups and lotions. Yes. I recieve 17 magazines and if you follow some of the stuff in there and buy some of the same or similar make up, you can definitly come up with some fab and trendy looks. Try it out!

Sometimes, it depends on how fast they needed to complete the spread, If they were tight on time, they probably just made up a few things.

I usually use the tips in there for make up and hair. Works great for me so I would say yes.
