You can't. Your friends throw you one, if you have any friends, and if you are pregnant and keeping the baby.

With your best girlfriend. A baby shower is like a bachelor party, there is no way to sign up for one, someone has to plan it.
You could plan it yourself. Just get your husband out of the house. That's easy, just tell him "I'm going to have a baby shower. I plan on inviting 15 of my girlfriends over for a party and it would be really nice if you helped by serving them coffee and cake; unless you have something more important to do." That should clear out any straight male quickly. Then make (buy) some stuff like you would for a birthday party. Coffee, juice, lemon aid etc. Along with coffee cake, a cake, or some snacks. Then invite your friends over for a baby shower. Usually they will be happy to come over and "shower" you with gifts (mostly for the baby). You could ask them to bring a dish with them, but the value of your gifts will probably be reduced. The best thing to do is get a few close friends involved to help plan it. Start the conversation with "What should I do for a baby shower?"
Baby Showers are a tradition, just like the bachelor party, so your friends should be happy to help you with it, and attend.

I've never heard of a free baby shower...usually you can have a relative or friend give you a shower and invite lots of family and friends and you can register at local stores, like walmart, toyrus, etc and pick out the stuff you and your baby need...and let them all know where you are registered at and they can go to that store and buy the stuff you picked out, (they will give you a device that you scan the items you want and how many you want and when the shoppers come in they give them your name and they will give them the list you chose....) its so fun...I did that too when I moved into my new house, everyone invited to my house warming party had bought everything I chose at walmart and jc pennys
this service is free at these stores, too!!

I don't know of a place that will throw you a free baby shower. Get your mom or a girlfriend to do it. its free to you.
