Depends on the company, to utility companies, banks and phone companies we are scum.
To the small business we are their bread and butter.
In the UK if you walk into a shop and the shop assistants are busy talking, we are a damned nuisance interrupting them from talking.
If you get out of the UK customer service really DOES exist and customers are important.
So the answer is depends on the company.
