There is a bill, SB840, that has passed both houses of the California Legislature. It advocates for a single-payer system (no insurance-company middlemen) that would cover all Californians (no preexisting exemptions, no deductibles and no copay). Apparently, this initiative has been going on for years but I just recently learned of it, so I am wondering how many others out there have learned of it and have an opinion of it.

yet permit's get all the way down to an exceedingly problematical question. Does each American deserve well being care? That opens up the controversy of what constitutes being an American interior the 1st place? it quite is a debate for yet another day. What concerning the guy, total households, even generations of households that have on no account worked, on no account payed taxes, yet have lived off the device 3 hundred and sixty 5 days after 3 hundred and sixty 5 days? Why is in the present day any distinctive? each from time to time it sort of feels that in case you do in no way pay taxes you would not have the skill to vote. Very controversially i know. yet returned, in case you do no longer make contributions, why might desire to you have a say in how that's spent? Our unfavourable Forefathers might desire to be looking down on us all with disgust and shame. whilst did you all become so corrupt? whilst did we become so lazy? whilst did any human beings think of any of it grew to become into ok?

everything has pro's and con's to it. it might be a good idea (sb840) providing health coverage to the ones that unfortunately can't afford to buy it on their own but like most bills they start out great until one party (house or senate) attaches amendments to it for their support of the bill......i'm in missouri we have a website that we can go to and get all the details on bills that are attempting to be passed. standard floor time for a bill in mo. is 2 to 3 yrs and it's very rare for a bill to pass on it's first attempt on the floor.
i'm sure alot of people would benefit from it but i would also want to know what the fine print that was on it is too.
