I have a deep seeded feeing that I will die alone. I feel like I will be very old, have lots of great memories, but ultimately will be the last of my close friends and family to die.

well, maybe that's how you'd like to be when you die. but you never know - you could be run over by a bus tomorrow, or waiting in line at the bank when a robber comes in.

i've thought about where/when i'll be when i die. i survived a life threatening illness that left me with about an hour to live when i was 22. what i learned, obviously the hard way, is that no one is immortal and someday, we're all going to die. you can't get around it. i would like to be old and have had a fulfilling live when i die, but i'm also fully aware that i have no control over it. it's not my decision to make.

if you get to be old with lots of great memories, then it's not a bad thing - you'll have had a fulfilling life. but don't let this image of yourself stop you doing anything in the meantime, get out there and enjoy it - you've gotta create all those memories you're gonna have when you're old :)

That may be true. There may be no one or a few non-relatives present? In any case, when you leave your body, you will be alone until you enter the Light. Do you enjoy being alone now? Allow yourself that luxury. When you leave your body, move to the Light knowing that you will find a similar peace as you have developed here in this life. All that you can know and experience at death is also available in the here and now. Practice the Presence. Home is home, now and at death. You are, in essence, consciousness. Be at home with it.

How long have you had these feelings? And how far does it go?
I wouldnt give it too much consideration.
I can always remember my BIL saying he was gonna die in the year 2000. Well he's 6 years past, and he's 80!

Lucky you. I thought you meant just before you pass on do you sense it , like on TV they get out there last words and then go, I never got to say good bye to my Mom I think some last words how ever painful would have helped.

We all die alone. You'll never get out of this life alive. So enjoy your time here.
